WHAT IS THE VALUE OF MEMBERSHIP IN SDA?

SDA's MISSION is "The Society for Design Administration advances management and administrative professionals in the A/E/C industry through education, networking, and resources."   Our VISION is "To have an SDA member in every A/E/C firm."  SDA is an elite organization that addresses the issues, concerns, and educates its members in all aspects of design firm administration.  If you are employed as an administrator in the A/E/C industry, then you should become a member!  SDA is nothing without it's membership.

Forums - has taken the place of the List Serv and is the new form of communication between tmembers, locally and nationally.  This is where the members can ask questions and share best practices in their related fields.
 
Certification Program - this is a program to illustrate your knowledge of the  industry.  Acheiving certification is an honor among the members of SDA.
 
National, Leadership, and Regional Conferences  - opportunities to further your education in the six related fields and to network with fellow members.
 
BTD White Pages - are educational tools for SDA members.  Posted and archived on the National Website at www.sdadmin.org they offer an insight of knowledge in the six areas of design administration, human resources, office administration, project management, finance, information technology, and marketing.
 
SDA Today - national's monthly newsletter for members that focuses on a different PEG each month.  It includes articles of interest and education, links to archived white papers on the national website, highlights a forum question each month and provides timely industry-related news, including members doing great things.
